Amazon Mississauga YYZ-1

YYZ-1 Hazmat is a 21,000-sq.ft. hazardous storage facility, consisting of safe storage areas for flammables, aerosols, and oxidizers. The hazmat storage area was built into an existing operational facility. Work started in July 2019 and the project was handed over to Amazon at the end of September 2019. The entire area is separated from the rest of the warehouse with curbs, spill barriers, and ramps, to ensure the fire protection foam is contained in the Hazmat Area in the event of a fire.
